As an entertainment or pedagogical tool to learn about sound synthesis, music theory and some notions of acoustics, HighC is perfectly sufficient as a standalone program. For demanding music professionals, HighC will most likely have to be used in conjunction with other instruments, and its output will have to be mixed with professional mixing tools. This chapter covers the currently available means to integrate HighC in the music production chain.
