This would be a great feature. You could scale the graphics as large as you want, not just as with bitmaps.

    Hi,

I can somewhat easily implement the standard printing features. Once this is done, you'll be able to print to a pdf file (or a printer).

This means you'll be also also able to spread a piece over more than one single page.

placing it on my notebook for version 3.0...

This would help alot. If you can implement some options for maybe print selections also, this would be a great feature.
    cheers

This is now implemented in the next release, due in a week or two. For now, if you want to print only a portion of what's visible, you'll have to select and use the show/hide feature: printing is really implemented as a "WYSIWYG" process.

What do you think about to implement a kind of export in open SVG vector graphics format. I donĀ“t know if this i very complicated, but could help.

I know how to do SVG export easily. My concern is that SVG is pretty much a dead format, and I'm trying to keep a streamlined interface. So, I"d rather improve the print functionality (ability to spread a piece across multiple pages, for instance), than add yet another way to export to an image that most users won't know how to make use of.

This said, the print feature is now available: just download version 2.75

yeah, very nice option to print as PDF.
    Thank you.
I see you arguments with svg, but "ability to spread a piece across multiple pages, for instance" would do it also. You would have everytime to print it on A1 or something, so enough detail of the whole piece.
But however: it would be cool to import the composition graphics in illustrator. I think theres still an option to convert pdf to another format (dunno right now for sure).
    cheers
